Publishing Talks:
Parneshia has worked in the publishing industry for over twelve years. She has conducted editor talks, publishing panels, and MFA student Q&A about the publishing industry all over the country. Below is a description of her talks and workshops.


Editor Talks:
What is it like being on the other side of the desk? The Editor’s desk. This talk includes discussions on the day to day of an editor’s experience with manuscripts and authors.

Author Dos and Donts:
This talk is good for MFA students and focuses on the ever present question: How do I get my work published? Discussion includes detailed information on how to submit work/manuscript to journals, magazines and finally, book publishers, and what to look for in a publisher, how to deal with that first book contract and what to expect after the book is published.
